This is to inform all the newly admitted and returning students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) that the management of the institution has released the school fees schedule for the 2018/2019 academic session.

University of Benin (UNIBEN) Acceptance Fee Details for 2018/2019 Academic Session

This is to inform all the UTME and Direct Entry candidates offered provisional admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for the 2018/2019 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as acceptance fee.
All provisionally admitted candidates are expected to proceed to pay acceptance fee and update their online clearance records by uploading relevant documents as they await the date of commencement of PHYSICAL CLEARANCE.

University of Benin (UNIBEN) Releases Clearance Procedure for 2018/2019 Newly Admitted UTME/DE Candidates

This is to inform all the UTME and Direct Entry candidates offered provisional admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN) various undergraduate programmes for the 2018/2019 academic session that the management of the institution has released the clearance procedure they have to follow.

  1. The UTME and Direct Entry Candidates admitted into University of Benin for 2018/2019 academic session are required to login at https://www.uniben.edu, click waeup portal with the PUTME/PUDE username and password used for their application and result checking.
  1. Click on “Download application slip”. Print it and take note of your ID and You will henceforth, use your ID and Password for subsequent login. Login and print your provisional admission letter.
  2. Only candidates with THE RIGHT PASSPORT SIZE (1-inch X 1-inch) WITH RED BACKGROUND PHOTOGRAPH USED FOR PUTME & PUDE ALREADY EMBEDDED IN their DOCUMENTS AND WITH requisite results to clear should proceed to pay THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF non-refundable acceptance fee ITEMIZED BELOW.

  1. On the Menu, click on “My data” select “Payment” option then click on “Add onlinepayment ticket”
  1. Select from the Payment Category, Acceptance Fee and click on “Create Ticket” button and then click the link under Payment ID.
  1. Click on the “College Pay” button to view payment details and click the “Submit” button to proceed with the payment through Interswitch payment gateway.
  1. Select your ATM Card type: Verve or Master Card and supply the card details (card number, expiration date, 4-digit PIN etc) as required.
  2. Then click on “PAY”
  3. If payment is successful, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen. Copy the “Clearance Activation Code” on the acceptance payment slip.
  4. Click on “My Data” on the menu and select “Clearance data” Enter your “Clearance Activation Code”to open yourClearance/Eligibility form.
  5. Fill the Clearance/Eligibility Form appropriately. Scan and upload the following documents:
  • “O’ level Certificates and Statements of ‘O’ level results from the schools
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • Acceptance Letter
  • Guarantor’s Letter
  • Affidavit of Good Conduct
  • Affidavit of Non-Membership of Secret Cults
  • JAMB & UNIBEN offer of Provisional Admission slips
(Please note that affidavits sworn in any Court of Law in Nigeria are acceptable) 
  1. At the bottom of the Clearance/Eligibility Form, click on the “Save”button to return later and complete the form OR click on “Save and request clearance” button to finally submit your Clearance/Eligibility Form when you are done. You cannot edit the Clearance /Eligibility Form after final submission.
  1. Click on “Download clearance slip” button and print your Clearance/Eligibility slip. Present it with online payment receipt, six (6) copies each of the listed items a to g in item 12, including six coloured passport photographs with red background and WAEC/NECO Scratch Card for checking results online to the clearance officers. The original credentials are for sighting during the physical clearance.
  1. Physical clearance commencement date to be announced later.
  1. Limited accommodations are available for Fresh candidates.
  1. Prohibition of Financial Transactions at Clearance Venue: There shall be no financial transactions in whatever form at the Main Auditorium Clearance Venue. Consequently, sales of Faculty Prospectus, Collection of dues, levies and other forms of Payment and Purchases are strictly prohibited. The release of completed and signed Clearance/eligibility form to student should not be tied to any other payment other than the fund paid for clearance.

University of Benin (UNIBEN) Announces Hostel Accommodation Guidelines for 2018/2019 Academic Session

The management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have released the procedure for hostel accommodation booking for 2018/2019 academic session full-time undergraduates.
All students interested in Hostel Accommodation in the upcoming session should take note of these guidelines . Pay your UNIBEN charges for the session.
Payment of charges for the new session will be enabled shortly .
Also, ensure that you actually need the accommodation and intend to stay there. You’re not allowed to book and transfer to another student as this is an Offence!

UNIBEN Hostel Accommodation Payment Guidelines.

  • Log into your Kofa record. Under Accommodation, Select Particular Hall of Interest.  This is a compulsory step for all that require accommodation in any of the reserved halls. For example, hall 5, hall 6, NDDC, etc.  Those that require accommodation in Hall 1, Hall 2, Hall 3 or Hall 4 and do not want to specify hostel can skip this step and go straight to step 2 after logging in. The next available space will be automatically assigned
  • Under Payments, Create Bed Allocation ticket. Make payment using any valid ATM card. The usual payment procedure.
  • Go ahead and book your particular space using the activation code on your payment slip, if desired hall is any of 1, 2, 3 or 4.
  • Immediately proceed to pay the relevant Hostel Maintenance fee assigned to your allocated space, upon successful booking. Please Note that all allocated spaces will be released back to circulation after 48 hours.  For the avoidance of doubt, Note that allocated spaces will be retrieved and become available for others to book after 2 days (48 hrs) of not paying Hostel maintenance fee.
  • Print out relevant Slips to use for clearance into the Halls of Residence.  Students that require space in any of the reserved halls should submit their payment slip to student affairs.  Any Student allocated a space in the reserved hall is also expected to go ahead and book with their activation code and to Immediately proceed to pay the relevant Hostel Maintenance fee assigned to your allocated space, within 48 hrs, upon successful booking.

Sule Lamido University (SLU) Releases IJMB Admission List for 2018/2019 Academic Session

The management of the Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, School of General and Preliminary Studies (SGPS) as released the list of candidates offered provisional admission into its Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme for the 2018/2019 academic session.
