Federal Poly Ilaro Announces HND Final Entrance Exam Date 2018/19 (Full-Time & Weekend)

This is to inform all the candidates that applied for the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time and Weekend programmes admission that the management of the institution has announced the date for their screening exercise.
The final entrance examinations for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro would hold on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
VENUE FOR THE EXAMINATIONS: The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (West Campus)
TIME: 9.00a.m.
All HND (Full Time and Part-Time Weekend) candidates are required to bring the following to the screening centre:
  1. 2 copies of printouts of the acknowledgement and examination slips

FUPRE Releases Post UTME Result for 2018/2019 Session

The management of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources , Effurun (FUPRE) has released the 2018/2019 academic session post UTME screening exercise results.
Candidates that participated in the post UTME screening test can now check their results online.

How to Check FUPRE Post UTME Result.

1. Go to FUPRE post UTME result checking portal at https://fupre.edu.ng/utme/candidate/.
2. Enter your JAMB registration number where required.
3. Enter your password in the appropriate column.
4. Finally, click on Login to access your FUPRE post UTME results.

FUPRE Important Notice to Post UTME Candidates Awaiting Results for 2018/2019 Session

This is to inform all the candidates (both UTME and Direct Entry), seeking admission into the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun,for the 2018/2019 academic session that they are required to visit any Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre nearest to them to upload their O’Level results.
Candidates who did not upload their result as at the time of their JAMB application (Awaiting Result) should do so immediately while those who have previously uploaded their results should seek confirmation of this from the CBT Centres.
Direct Entry students should indicate their mode of entry to the CBT officers to avoid being grouped with UTME students.
Candidates are to treat this information as URGENT so as not to forfeit their admission.

UNILORIN Releases Mop-UP Post UTME Screening Schedule for 2018/2019 Session

This is to inform the general public that mop-up test for candidates who have issues in the on-going post-UTME screening will be conducted on Thursday, August 30, 2018 beginning from 8.00a.m.
Meanwhile, candidates who were originally scheduled for Thursday, August 30, are enjoined to report at the CBT Centre by 7.00a.m irrespective of their scheduled time.

LAUTECH Releases Notice to Post UTME Candidates with Awaiting Results for 2018/2019 Session

This is to inform all the candidates who sat for the 2018/2019 academic session Post UTME of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) but are yet to upload their ‘O’ Level results are hereby advised to do so on or before 12,00am Saturday, September 1, 2018 unfailingly.
Any candidate who fails to heed this instruction will automatically lose the opportunity of being considered for admission into this University.

UI Announces Dates for 2018/2019 Post-UTME Screening

This is to inform all prospective candidates for the 2018/19 admission exercise who have successfully uploaded their biodata/credentials that the post UTME screening will come up on Friday, 14 and Saturday, 15 September 2018. Please note that only candidates who scored 200 and above are eligible for the exercise.
Furthermore, with effect from 2017/18 session, the institutional cut off mark of 200 is applicable to all the institutions affiliated to the University of Ibadan.
Contrary to insinuations in some quarters that the cut-off mark for our affiliated institutions is 180, the University wishes to reiterate that, as approved by the Senate of the University of Ibadan, 200 is the cut-off mark for both the main campus and the affiliated institutions.
For the avoidance of doubt, the newly introduced Central Admission Processing System CAPS) by JAMB makes it practically impossible for candidates below the institutional cut- off mark to be offered admission.
Candidates who scored 200 and above at the UTME and who wish to change to any of our affiliated institutions are welcome to do so. A list of these institutions is available on our website (ui.edu.ng).

MAUTECH Extends Online Screening for 2018/2019 Admission Exercise into First Degree Programmes

This is to inform the General Public that the POST UTME/DE Platform for Online Registration of applicants into first Degree programme of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola has been reopened effective from Monday, 27th August – Sunday, 9th September, 2018.
  • Those that have not registered on the platform are advised to log onto the University website, register and submit their document within the above stated periods.
  • Those that have earlier registered but have not submitted their newly obtained O’level results (i.e. NECO/NABTEB)/ A’Level results (ND/NCE/IJMB) are advised to log into their Account, upload and submit their documents as appropriate. All uploaded documents should be clearly scanned in PDF format not more than 100kb.
  • O’level results submitted should also be equally submitted to JAMB through applicants JAMB profile (JAMB Account).
Applicants are advised to view their documents and ensure they are clear and visible before submission.
Failure to comply with the above information, will be detrimental to the applicants
(applicant may not be admitted by the University).

  • Enter your name, JAMB No., valid email address and phone number (ensure that it is your email and phone number, it will be used in subsequent communication with you).
  • Click on submit’ OR “My Account”
  • Login page will be displayed for you.
  • Use your JAMB No as your username and password to log in.
  • You will be redirected to REMITA payment platform to make payment.
  • Chose a payment option ( i.e. using ATM Card or Bank)
    • ATM Card Payment Option:
  • Click proceed to payment’ icon
  • Select card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
  • Enter your Card details and ATM PIN No. and ‘submit’
  • OTP confirmatory code will be sent to your phone/email to confirm your transaction.
  • FINALLY, enter the sent OTP code to complete your transaction.
  • N2, 000.00 will be deducted from your account.
  • After completing the payment, you will be taken to the registration platform to proceed with your registration.

    • Bank Payment Option:
  • Click proceed to payment’ icon
  • Select Bank;
  • Enter your details as required and ‘submit’
  • Print the e-invoice containing the REMITA No. and take to any Commercial Bank and pay the sum of two thousand (N2,000.00).
  • A payment receipt will be generated for you from the bank.
  • Logon to MAUTECH website again, select 2018/2019 POST UTME link, select existing applicant and enter your JAMB No as username and password. You will be taken to the registration platform to proceed with registration.

  • CHOICE OF PROGRAMME: You are required to select the choice of your programme of study from the list of available programmes.
  • You are expected to enter not more than two sittings of your O’level Examination results with their centres/examination numbers

  • In addition to the above, DE applicants are expected to enter institution and class of diploma/statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A level).

a.) You are required to upload your recent passport photograph that is very clear and with a plain red background. The picture should be in JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size.
b.) Upload Scanned Copies in PDF format of the following Documents (the documents should not exceed 100kb each):
  • JAMB Result Slip for UTME/JAMB Acknowledgement Slip for DE
  • O' Level Result(s); two sittings maximum
  • A Level Result (ND/HND/NCE/IJMB)
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  • Local Government Indigene Letter
After filling/uploading all the necessary information/Certificates, you are advised to cross check and ensure that all entries/uploads are correct. You should then submit the application by clicking on the 'Submit application button.
After successful submission of your application, your application page is displayed. Your JAMB Registration Number is your Application ID (Password) as well as your login Username. You may wish to print your application form by Clicking on the Print Application’ button.

AKSU Releases Admission List for 2018/2019 Session

This is to inform all candidates who took part in the Akwa Ibom State University PUTME first choice screening exercise which took place from Monday, 23rd July to Friday, 27th July, 2018 and the general public that the first batch of admission list for candidates offered provisional admission into the University is out and available online at http://www.aksu.edu.ng/AL
The release of the names of successful candidates is ongoing and candidates who do not see their names are strongly advised to check back on the site as the list will be continuously updated. Also, candidates who have not yet seen their names on the admission list are requested to visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result on or before 31st August 2018, so as not to forfeit their chances of gaining admission.
Successful candidates are required to logon to their JAMB CAPS profile (http://jamb.org.ng/efacility/login) to accept the provisional offer of admission and proceed to pay their Acceptance Fee using the steps outlined below on or before 7th September 2018:
  1. Visit http://www.portal.aksu.edu.ng.
  2. Click the "Register Now" button.
  3. Click "Admission".
  4. Then select "Bio Data".
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click "Verify".
  6. Click the "click to make payment link" on the right side of the page

    1. Interested candidates must have scored 180 and above in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
    1. All candidates can apply whether he/she had chosen the university as first or second choice or not at all in the 2018 UTME. However, those who did not choose the university as first choice should effect a change of institution to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB portal. Also, those going for new courses should effect a change of course on the JAMB portal.
    1. Candidates who sat for the 2018 AE-FUNAI Post–UTME Screening Exercise and scored below 180 may re-apply and can opt to change their initial course on JAMB portal. All such candidates shall be required to participate in a fresh Post-UTME Screening test. 
    1. Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2018 AE-FUNAI Post-UTME Screening Exercise but are yet to be offered admission in their initial courses can also reapply for any of the advertised courses. This set of candidates may choose not to retake the upcoming Post-UTME Screening test. This should be indicated while completing the       P-UTME online application form
    Registration starts on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 and ends on Tuesday, September, 11, 2018.
    Mode of Payment/Registration
    Interested candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2, 000 only. To register, follow the steps outlined below:
    1. Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng, go to News, Click on 2018/2019 Supplementary Admission Screening
    2. Click on “Prospective Students”
    3. Click on “Click to Apply” under 2018/2019 Supplementary Admission Screening Application
    4. Enter your “JAMB Registration Number”
    5. Select your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number). 
    6. Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.
    7. Return to the Application page and enter your “JAMB Registration Number”again.
    8. Proceed with the completion of the form.
    9. Upload CLEAR COPY of recent passport photograph
    10. Confirm your entries.
    11. Submit your application.
    12. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
    13. And come with it for the Post-UTME Test.
    DATE FOR SCREENING TEST: Successfully registered candidates should go back to the registration portal from Friday, September 14, 2018 and reprint their acknowledgement slip to ascertain their date and time of screening. 
    Candidates are required to come with the following items:
    1. Registration print-out acknowledgement slip from the University website, which should indicate their date and time of test
    2. 2. 2018/2019 Original UTME Result slip (not photocopy) showing candidate’s picture and score
    3. 3. A biro or pencil
    NOTE: Any candidate who is offered admission into the university through the supplementary application shall not be permitted under any circumstance to request for a change of course in future.
