RSUST Announces Post-UTME 2018 Cut-off Mark, Dates, Eligibility and Registration Details

RSUST Post-UTME registration cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost, deadline and screening details for the 2018/2019 academic session have been published. Cut-off mark is 180. Cost is N2000. Registration deadline is August 17th. Screening Holds August 20th-31st. Full details below;

All candidates who chose the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port -Harcourt during the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received notification to that effect from JAMB are hereby requested to take note of the following:-.

RSUST Post-UTME 2018: Cut-off Mark, Dates, Eligibility And Registration Details
i. The screening exercise for admission of candidates will be administered only on candidates who chose RSU as their first choice University.

ii. Only candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the University.

iii. Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’ level credit passes in accordance with the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty /Departmental) before applying for the screening Exercise. It is mandatory that Candidates should upload their O ‘Level results and a scanned copy of their passport photograph. However, candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should so indicate

iv. Candidates are expected to register for the screening exercise On-line by logging onto http://ecampus.rsu.edu.ng/ and making e-payment of Two Thousand naira (N2,000.00) only by using Interswitch Verve enabled cards or using the Pay Direct Bank Branch option. Candidates are encouraged to come to the Self Help of the Information Technology Centre, Rivers State University for RELIABLE registration and BIOMETRICS.

v. Candidates should ensure that their correct details are captured during the application for the Post-UTME Screening test.

vi. Candidates are to note that the mode of screening exercise is ELECTRONIC. It is important that candidates practice how to use the computer especially the use of mouse and keyboard before they turn up for the screening exercise. In addition, the Information Technology Centre (ITC) may be conducting a 1-week demonstration session for candidates prior to the date of the screening exercise.
viii. The registration for the screening exercise will start from Monday 16th July, 2018 and end on Friday 17th August, 2018.

SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from Monday 20th August 2018, to Friday 31st August, 2018 at the Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the University. Candidates are requested to please note that Screening Exercise is as scheduled in the screening exercise slip they printed out after their On-line registration. The scheduled date, time and venue shall be indicated in the test slip. We currently do not have the Original Post-UTME Past questions for this school. Of you can obtain it, please do. Upload it here and make good money from it.

Consideration will not be given to candidates who fail to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled date and time. All candidates for the screening exercise are required to come to the examination venue with their test slip
printed out during the On-line registration.

Candidates should note that GSM phones WILL NOT BE ALLOWED into the hall during the screening exercise.
Parents, Guardians and Well-wishers are advised to stay away from the venue of the screening exercise Candidates must report at the test venue one (1) hour before the scheduled time on their test slip.

It is important to note that the names of successful candidates for admission shall be published on the same site (www.rsu.edu.ng).

ELIGIBILITY
For UTME
Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice and have scored 170 points and above are eligible to attend the exercise. However, those who attended the School of Basic Studies of the University and passed the prescribed examination, require a minimum of 140 points at UTME.
For Direct Entry
Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice and have minimum qualification of Lower Credit at National Diploma from recognized institutions or 7 points at NCE/IJMB or equivalent qualifications are eligible to attend the exercise.
NOTE: Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the step-by-step instructions on the portal. They should also fill-in their current e-mail addresses and phone numbers in the application form for easy contact. All candidates are to come along with the following:
(i) Original of UTME result slip and photocopy of same
(ii) Original DE JAMB slip and photocopy of same (for DE candidates)
(iii) Original and photocopies of credentials (where available)
(iv) Evidence of payment

KASU Announces 2018/2019 Post-UTME Cut-off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

Register for the 2018/2019 Session Kaduna State University P-UTME Admission Screening Exercise by using your JAMB Registration Number and also making sure you have a valid email address and a recent passport photograph.
All candidates with relevant O'Levels result and an aggregate score of 170 and above are eligible for the screening exercise.
Candidates are required to pay N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira only) as screening fee at any commercial bank on the PayDirect platform. Use "University UTME Screening Fees (Kaduna State University)" as the beneficiary account name on the teller. After payment, a payment receipt will be issued.
Candidates are expected to print their online screening slips carrying their passport size photographs as confirmation of completion of the screening process. Only those who completed the online screening will be considered for admission.
The Screening online portal will close on 28th July, 2018 by 12 midnight.

The University Admissions Committee at its meeting held on the 12th June, 2018 decided to adopt 150 point as cut off mark for the 2018/2019 Admission exercise.  Except for Biochemistry and Computer Science which is 170.  See the table below:

REVISED AND UPDATED REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND PLACEMENT OF NEW ENTRANT STUDENTS

Preamble:
Senate had approved five (5) relevant credits including English and Mathematics except English, History and Mass Communication, which  must be met for all programmes in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, while in the Faculties of Agriculture, Science and Science Education, candidates must have four (4) relevant credits pass, including Mathematics, then sign an undertaking to meet O’level credit pass in English before proceeding to 300 level. Candidates will be placed as follows:-
  1. 100 Level: UTME, and Direct Entry (DE) OND, ND with a pass.
  2. 200 Level:
a). NCE with a minimum of 9 points having met O’ level requirements for the programme.
b). IJMB with a minimum of 6 points have met O’ level requirement for the programme.
